How Do I ... Display a graph of something other than weight. ?
You can use the 'W'eight option on the clinical screen to graph almost anything.
There are two preset option:
Glucose (Analysis code 227)
The system will scan the clinical records for any clinical lines tagged with those analysis codes (note you can alter the Analysis codes via an option in the setup program).
The system does this by removing ALL characters A-Za-z from the line and using the 1st number that is left. So for Glucose as an example:
- Set up an AP item say: 'IL' 'Insulin Level # units' and give it analysis code 227, set multiplication factor to Displayed.
- Enter on the animal's card
il 123(or 123 il) if the Insulin result is 123. - When the 'W'eight Graph option is requested, pick 'G'lucose and the levels will be graphed.
There is another option alongside the Weight and Glucose called 'O'ther
when selected you will be asked for the Analysis code and description
and the system will use the same procedure as above and display a graph
of the 1st number it finds on the clinical line. This could be used in
the case of Farm records that relate to Milk production to graph the
cell count of the milking shed.
Once the graph is displayed the normal options apply:
[T] Time - redisplay using a specific time period.
[D] Data - Display the actual raw data that made up the graph.
