> I have several dispensing fee codes set up. > I want to settle an argument about the use of injectable painkillers > > I want to know how much vets FC, ADS, RWH use zeni on a monthly basis > I want to know how many ~i each vet uses per month
This question can be split into a couple of areas:
If it was just how many of XYZ did I sell then the best place to look is on the stock card it'self and pick the 'Sales' option.
As soon as you want to do it on a per vet basis you will have to use one of the other reporting options.
If the item you are looking for is entered under a unique analysis code then go to Reports -> Monthly/Yearly -> User Breakdown and there you can compare different user I.D.'s as required very quickly.
As the question relates to a drug the chances are it will not be under
a unique code - so the obvious choice is the utility
'Search for ..'. The Search for
option will scan all the clinical records reporting on the number found.
This is found 'Reports -> Search For' (or if using new style menu's 'Misc Utilities -> Search for ...). The 1st screen deals with the Management record - enter an '*' to reset the current options, make sure 16 is set to No. On the 2nd screen, enter an '*' to reset, Pick 'F'inancial and set it to Yes, Use the 'Date' option to select the scan period, 'N'otes - Line 1 and enter 'ZENI' (or whatever you want to search for), 'Vet', line 1 and the user I.D. you want the report on. Let it run.
Repeat the run for the other user I.D's. This will give you a printout of the animals and the treatment total for each user scanned.
This is in two parts reading between the lines:
Note: To save printing large amounts, spool the report (use F9 to swap printers), then 'View' the report in the spooler, the last couple of lines will give you the totals.
Injection/Dispensing charges are Professional Fees and you should be showing them as such (Make sure
General Apps -> Params -> Fields/Defaults -> Options -> More -> 5
is set to No).
If this is the case then all you need to do is
look at the end on the Search for ... option, the value in the
'Fees' column is the amount attributed to the ~i.
