Removing Users

Over a period of time users will come and go you do need to periodically carry out some house keeping tasks.

With version 03.02.03 (July 2010) there have been a couple of changes to help you.

List Existing Users

On the weekly Security Report there is a section at the top showing you the existing system users, when they last logged on and the amount of mail they have.

hannah has 3123 new messages, 3100 unread messages, 7 read messages.

You can run the same report via an option on the admin menu.

Admin Login -> EnServe Control Menu -> Security Report Using the last login date, the amount of unread mail you can decide if you need to archive the user or just get them to remove old mail.

Remove User

If the user has left your employ and not likely to return you should remove them from the system.

This will remove them from Unix NOT Premvet - all the work they did will still be there and still be tagged with their name - this stops them trying to get back into the network.

To remove them use the option:
