Moving Records
I want to move some records from one animal to another as I entered them on the wrong card except when try I get the message
Transaction on record remove 1st.
- On the original clinical record card select Edit
- Select the the 1st record that you want to move
- (if you are not sure what records are part of the transaction use the Clinical - List - Transaction option )
- On the edit screen you will see on the right Trans No 0000123
- Move the cursor to that field and enter '0', exit and confirm the changes.
- Repeat the above for the rest of the lines
If you have removed the tag on all line in that transactions we recommend you use your AP code for transaction maintenance to 'close' it.
Now go back to the management screen and re-run the move it should run through without any problem.
If you are wanting to associate the moved lines with a transaction then:
- If the transaction does NOT exist then use transaction maint option to start a new transaction
- Select the Clinical - Edit option, select Transaction and select the appropriate transaction
- Select the line you are interested in - use the 'Transaction' option and this will set the transaction number
- Repeat the above for the lines you are interested in.
