Administrative Lock
- Access the card, select 'A'dditional - 'L'ock - The card is locked.
- Make up an AP card called for example 'Lock' and add ^28=1 to the extra's line - now when that AP code is used the card will be locked.
When I access a card I get a pop-up:
- The account is locked
This indicates that your practice manager has locked the record, usually due to them being a bad debtor.
Sometimes you can get a 'rogue' lock - what do you do?
If the line below the lock indicates 'You are authorised to clear it' then just press 'A'dditional fillowed by 'L'ock - the lock has been removed.
If you are NOT authorised then you should contact your Practice Manager and let them do it for you.
If you are the Practice Manager then you should give yourself access to this.
Menu -> Systems Management -> Users -> Password Maint -> -> Add/edit Users
Select your self (or whoever you wish to give access to), then select 'A'ccess.
Scroll down (use Page Up/Down) until you see option 128 'Admin Lock Access' and press RETURN to change the No to a Yes. When that user next logs in they have access to remove the lock
How can I lock cards?
