To Perform Manual Master Backup

Login as root and enter your root password.

At the server: tty01] root # prompt type:

edgemenu

and <press return>

You will see the following screen:
(The exact screen layout will vary depending on which version of Edge you are currently using).

Use the arrow keys, and select

The middle of the screen will change to show:

The option [Execute Backup] should be highlighted. Press <return> and your Master Backup will start.
You should accept the defaults.

The backup will now run. When it is complete, you will get the message saying the backup has been successful. Press <return> and you will come back to the first screen again.

With the cursor on [File] press <return>. Then select the option [eXit]. You will come back to the [server: tty01] root # prompt. At this prompt, type: exit and press <return>
