How can I find which animals were affected by Fireworks?

If it is listed on the clinical card this option will find it fast.

Use Reports -> Data Major -> Ad-hoc -> Clinical text contains

As the option suggests this looks for any text, in this case we want to look for 'Fireworks'.

Note: There is a stored report 'Clinical -> Who has Had X and Y so you can look for ACP and Fireworks - however here we want to just list the animals where the text Firework appeared.

When selected you will see:

Transaction dates: Bonfire night is beginning of November, clients may have come in a couple of weeks earlier last year - so lets look October and November. Enter Start Date 01.10.2008 and an End Date of 01.12.2008.
Text: Enter the text you are looking for in 'Text Contains' - enter firework and leave the other two options blank.

You will get a list of all records where that text appeared.

Adjust the dates / text as it suits your needs.

You can enter a '?' at the 'Restrict by' question where you can enter some of the common details esp. just limit the report to animals that are Alive.

Once the report is run you have to the option to export to a MailMerge file (Use the 'File' option when report is finished), print on the printer or re-run.

You can include the Client Details if you are wanting to Send Letters.
