Unable to merge after installing IE7
I have just installed the new Internet Explorer (Version 7) and I can no longer perform `mail-merge' using Microsoft Word.
IE 7 tightens up security and data that is located on a remote location is denied access. The applies to a wide range of applications not just your browser.
You need to tell the system which machines are `trusted'.
What are the steps?

- Select Add
- You need to enter the url of the server the data you are merging with lives. This will normally be the name of your unix box.
It needs to be in the format file://servername, in the screen shot above it is file://xanth .
- Click 'Add', then 'Close'
You are now finished, click 'Ok' on all the windows until you are back at your browser. You should now be able to access any data from your Unix server now.
