To set up a label for automatic labelling

Printing drug labels with no pricing

If you just enter an * on the (A)uto line you will be prompted for various answers for item and dose etc. These will be merged with the client details on the label.

Printing a label with pricing

To produce a label from a clinical record (including pricing)

(A)uto from prompt line and then put in your drug code followed by the amount dispensed.

Follow this with an asterisk (*) - this tells the computer that you want a label.

An apostrophe (') followed by your label abbreviation will put the dosage on.

EG: syn50 10* 'bid
will be printed as

Synulox 50mg x 10
1 tablet twice daily
All the client details will be filled in automatically.

NOTES:

You can set up to 300 label abbreviations including ones that will ask for the dose. eg: ASK = Give && tablet(s) && time(s) a day
