How to the Pop-Up Recalls work
There may be times you wish to be reminded of some event e.g.
- Not visited the farm in last 6 month
- PetAid period has expired
- Wormers are due
- Health Check due
- Weight needs recording
These can be done using the 'pop up' recalls. If the recall is due a window will appear when the card is accessed with the details in it.
How do I set these up?
The pop-up recalls are recalls above 240. You set the recalls up as normal via:
Menu -> System -> Setup -> Lookup Tables -> Recalls {New Style}
Use the Edit option and create a NEW recall above 240 e.g.
242 On-Site Visit : 12
For a recall in 4 weeks for a weight check and a on-site visit for 12 weeks.
Either add an AP card for Weight check to trip this recall or add ^2=241.4 to your existing cards that relate to weight. If you are doing one for visits alter your 'Visit xxxxx' AP codes and add ^2=242.12 to extras (or just change the 'Other Recalls'). The recalls will be updated every time the weight/visit AP codes are used, if when you access the card one is overdue you will be reminded.
