If the figure on the bottom LH side of the screen is less than 80 characters then accept the defaults.
If it is more than this, then it is worth altering the format slightly so that you can DISPLAY the report the first time you run it. This means that you can check it is OK before wasting lots of paper.!
If you want the list to be alphabetically or in analysis code order (if you are specifying more than one code in the search) then answer YES
If you want the sales figures for everything you do then do NOT select anything.
If you wish to run the report by analysis code or Product code, then select .......Analysis code, or product code !!
When it asks you to be more specific, enter a / as discussed before. You will then be able to specify which analysis code you want when you actually run the report.
Description = Sales figures Filename = sales
Description = Sales by analysis Filename - anasales
You will now have a report in Stock Control that can give you a cumulative total of sales for the year to date. You will have set it to run either for ALL items or particular groups such as Wormers, Diets, Antibiotics, etc.
