Setting the Preferred Contact Method
I have tidied up all the client mobile telephone numbers now I want to set the system to update the Preferred Contact Method to SMS.
We would recommend you look at Tidy up Mobile Numbers FAQ before running this option.
There is a DataMajor script that will set the Preferred Contact method to SMS for you automatically. You should select:
Select the Update Preferred method to SMS script.
The system will list all the records on the screen, visually scan them to make sure everything 'looks ok' and once finished listing you will be asked:
Do you still want to update records Yes/No
If you answer Yes the update will take place otherwise you will be returned to the index.
Any changes made will cross update to remote sites.
