Pop-Up when Stock Item Sold
I would like to pop-up a reminder to staff when an item is sold so the client can be advised of other related offers - how?
The system can Print a Letter when an item is sold - however, what is needed is a quick couple of lines on the screen as a reminder.
If you create a basic protocol with the wording (example included) and add that as the name of the letter to add this will be used instead.
For example, using the example on the system, on one of your stock items add a letter called 'stock' - sell the item - you should see:

Just use any text editor to change e.g. (Menu -> Text Utilities ->
Text Editor -> Ste -> Protocols -> F5 -> stock.pro - adjust
the text as required F2 to save).
Both letter and protocol can be used as long as the names are the same e.g. text/stock.def for the letter and protocols/stock.pro for the protocol.
One rather cool option is the ability to add a pop-up protocol to all items with the same analysis code. Say all your Wormers are analysis code 188 and you want to remind client to buy Flea collars. Copy stock.pro to stka188.pro now any time a wormer is sold a pop-up will appear. You do NOT need to adjust any stock card.
