Vatbook in-use

When I access the Vatbook I get one of the following messages: 

Another user is resetting/looking at the vatbook

or

Sorry being run by someone else

This means there is another user on the system running the End of Period. Use the F11 key from the main menu to show who is doing what, if you cannot see anyone running the Vatbook it may be the lock is in-valid.

You can remove the lock by using, from the main menu:

System Management -> Remove record locks

The screen should show (bottom right) Vatbook LOCKED.

Use Clear -> Vatbook to remove the lock.

The other messages you may see are: 

Record XX locked by 'some user here' - Retry Yes No
This means someone is still writing up a record card somewhere, see the Record Lock FAQ for details. 

No work currently in the Vatbook

As it suggests there is nothing in the Vatbook to be printed. 

Someone beat you to it - being run

While you were going into the Vatbook, selecting the options etc. someone else in the practice answered the questions faster and beat you to it!!.
