You can, when dispensing a stock item (or from the stock card), access the data sheet held by NOAH. This is automatic and there is no setup needed. e.g.:

Map to Client Location

Some farms, stables, studs etc. can be difficult to find. This applies more to locums and new members of staff. There is a direct link into Multi-Map allowing the site to be pin-pointed and directions to be obtained. e.g.

Upgrade Server

There is a web server dedicated to Premvet - there are options available for you to update the version of software you are using, download DataMajor scripts and new definition files.

SMS Messaging

You can send SMS messages from Premvet to groups of staff, remote staff out of range, users for reminders. This does require an Internet connection.

Drug Ordering (Centaur, Dunlops, NVS, VetCel)

Place orders on-line, get replies for the major drug wholesalers.

Price Updates (Centaur, Dunlops, NVS)

As with ordering, pick up a price update disk as often as you want, quick and simple.

Batch Numbers (Dunlops, NVS)

Batch recording - pickup the batch details and update the stock files straight away. You don't even need to use Premvet to generate the order.

Most of the Labs, DEFRA, Pathology departments etc. can send out results directly via E-Mail - the system will pickup the mail and attach them onto the animal card.

Web Links

The animal attachment screen can store web links, you can setup an animal card to have all the common links for a specific topic. For example, you may want to save a helpful links on say Border Collies.

On-Line Help, Manual and Guides

Many of the Premvet screens have online help build in. These will look at the Dedicated Premvet Server. You have up to the minute access to changes, guides and How DO I's.

General Web Access

In addition to the specific Premvet options, linking Broadband onto the Premvet server allows you to have centralised e-mail, controlled web access via EnServe. It also allows new options to be added easily making the system future proof.
