Premvet and Broadband
Noah Data Sheets
You can, when dispensing a stock item (or from the stock card), access
the data sheet held by NOAH. This is automatic and there is no setup
needed. e.g.:
Map to Client Location
Some farms, stables, studs etc. can be difficult to find. This applies
more to locums and new members of staff. There is a direct link into
Multi-Map allowing the site to be pin-pointed and directions to be
obtained. e.g.
Upgrade Server
There is a web server dedicated to Premvet - there are options available
for you to update the version of software you are using, download DataMajor scripts and new definition files.
SMS Messaging
You can send SMS messages from Premvet to groups of staff, remote staff
out of range, users for reminders. This does require an Internet
connection.
Drug Ordering (Centaur, Dunlops, NVS, VetCel)
Place orders on-line, get replies for the major drug wholesalers.
Price Updates (Centaur, Dunlops, NVS)
As with ordering, pick up a price update disk as often as you want,
quick and simple.
Batch Numbers (Dunlops, NVS)
Batch recording - pickup the batch details and update the stock files
straight away. You don't even need to use Premvet to generate the
order.
Lab Results via E-Mail
Most of the Labs, DEFRA, Pathology departments etc. can send out results
directly via E-Mail - the system will pickup the mail and attach them
onto the animal card.

Web Links
The animal attachment screen can store web links, you can setup an animal
card to have all the common links for a specific topic. For example, you may
want to save a helpful links on say Border Collies.

On-Line Help, Manual and Guides
Many of the Premvet screens have online help build in. These will
look at the Dedicated Premvet Server. You have up to the minute
access to changes, guides and How DO I's.
General Web Access
In addition to the specific Premvet options, linking Broadband onto the
Premvet server allows you to have centralised e-mail, controlled web access via
EnServe. It also allows new options to be added easily making the system
future proof.
