Setup an Automatic Pricing card as follwoes:

Now whenever you weigh an animal W within automatic pricing:
Item(s) W
if you do not enter the weight at the same time you will be prompted with
Enter weight in Kgs 35.5
add it to the clinical screen and update the management card automatically.
If you enter the weight at the same time as the W e.g.
Item(s) W 35.5
you will NOT be asked the extra question.
To display a graph of the weight Gain/Loss use the 'W' option at the clinical prompt line.
