WYSE 55 TERMINAL SETTINGS

To enter setup mode press [SHIFT][SELECT]

Note: Items in BOLD need checking.
Make sure the cable is plugged in the MODEM port.

Press [F1] and check the following:
 

Columns =Econ-80 Cursor =Blink Blk Scrn Saver =On
Lines =25 Display =Dark Char Cell =10 x 15
Page Length =1 x Lines Autopage =Off 80/132 CLR =Off

Press [F2] and check the following:
 

Personality =Wyse 120+ Enhance =On Status Line =On
Scrl =Jump Autoscrl =On Wrap EOL =On
Rvc CR =CR Monitor =Off Recognise Del =Off

 Press [F3] and check the following:
 

Keyclick =On Repeat =On Keycode =ASCII
Keylock =Caps Language =UK Corner Key =Funct
Codepg =PC Wyse ASCII ASCII Font =Wy ASCII ASCII =National 7 Bit

 Press [F4] and set the following:
 

COMM =FDX XMT Lim =None Answerback =Off
MDM RC HSK =Xon/Xoff MDM RC HSL Level =192 MDM XMT HSK =None
AUX RC HSK =None Send ACK =On Aux XMT HSK =None

 Press [F5] and set the following:
 

MDM Baud Rate =19200 * MDM Data/Parity =8/NONE MDM Stop Bits =1
AUX Baud Rate =19200 AUX Data/Parity =8/NONE AUX Stop Bits =1
Host Port =Modem Port Printer Attached =On Nulls Suppress =On
* - Depends on Unix port setting - Normally, 9600, 19200 or 38400

[F6]=  (Should not need to be changed)
[F7]=  (Should not need to be changed)
[F8]=  (Should not need to be changed)
 Press [F9] and press the [BACKSPACE] key to set the defaults.
[F10]=  (Should not need to be changed)
[F11]=  (Should not need to be changed)

 To save: tap [F12], tap the spacebar once, tap [F12] again
 

If you need to alter the setting frequently, you should contact your hardware company as it indicates either the internal battery is getting low or there is a fault in the terminal.
