Before you start you need to know the EnServe's IP Address or Name, your EnServe Administrator can tell you this.

To set up Internet Explorer 6 to use the EnServe's web caching services..

Step 1 :
Open Internet Explorer™.
From the main window go to the top toolbar and click Tools then Internet Options.

Step 2 :
UIn the Internet Options window click the Connections tab then the LAN Settings button.

Step 3 :
Tick the Use proxy settings box then enter the EnServe's IP Address in the Address box.
Enter 3128 in the Port box (or 8000 if you are wanting to use JunkBuster) then tick the Bypass proxy server for local addresses box.
Click the OK button to close the window then the OK button in the Internet Options window to get back to the main Internet Explorer window.
nb. If you already have proxy settings set you may have to click the Advanced tab and clear the existing settings in order to enter new settings.
