Adding Work: Invisible Surcharges

The system can apply an invisible surcharge (or discount) to any prices entered on the clinical screen (free-hand or automatic pricing), according to information you have set on the client's Management Record Card. We will cover discounting and surcharging fully in the Billing section, but it's valid to point out here that any surcharges/discounts applied in this way will not be flagged by Premvet 5 while you are viewing the clinical screen.

In other words, the only way to tell if a clinical line has had one of these discounts or surcharges applied is to compare the prices with those charged normally. The fact that a discount or a surcharge has taken place is completely transparent to the client (and user).
