Billing: Invoice Layout

In addition to the range of options that can be changed on the invoices there are additional 'layouts' that can be used. These layouts are usually to the actual format e.g. paper size. Currently the layouts are :

• Normal - this is the layout covered in the Invoice section of this manual and is the one used by most practices.

• Welsh - Layout Type 'T' - This layout print the VAT number and the heading descriptions in welsh and lumps together Fees and Drugs in one column.

• Others - Layout Type 'L' - This layout has an extra column to itemise work under 'Others' (analysis code 230). The Vatbook already itemises this code, it can be used to show Visits or Lab work. All the normal invoices options can be used except 'Join Lines'.

  The text at the top of the column will default to 'Lab.', this can be changed by added an entry to the configuration file params.txt. Use the option:

  'G'eneral - 'P'arams - 'T'ext Files - Params.txt
  

  The entry is Invoice_Code_230 = xxxx, where xxxx is the text you want (8 characters max).
