Access Permissions and Options

POM stock item

In order to stop the dispensing of POM drugs by lay staff access permission (103) can be used.
(See Password and User Levels for details for checking user permissions.)

You first of all make sure all your POM drugs are under a specific analysis code e.g. 240. Then using option

General Apps -> Parameters -> Misc -> 21 'POM analysis code'

enter the appropriate code.

Then only users that have permission 103 set to Yes will then be allowed to dispense the product.

Block Sales if No Stock

To stop users selling stock that is not on the shelf, set the option:

General Apps -> Parameters -> Fields -> Options -> 23 'Block Sales'

to yes. This will stop the item being sold if quantity is 0 or less.

Stk Edit update RRP

The option:

General Apps -> Parameters -> Fields -> Options -> 30 'Update RRP'

if set to No will when a change if made to the cost price ONLY adjust the mark-up - it will NOT affect the RRP or Selling price. If set to Yes then the RRP and Selling price will change and the Mark-up will remain the same.
