End of year/Price increase

Figures within AP need to be cleared down at the end of the year, there is an option within Automatic Pricing to handle this. In addition the same menu option allows you to do a global increase of the prices.

End of year (AP)
This will reset all monthly figures back to zero. A password (SQUID56F) is required.

This option can be run automatically by cron with vet -p eoy.

Price increase
This is used to increase all procedure prices, when selected you will be asked:

• The percentage amount to increase by (you can enter a -ve number to reduce prices).
• Does the increase to the 'Drugs' Component of the procedure
• Does it apply to ALL analysis codes. You can limit the increase to specific or a range of analysis codes.

Drug vs Stock
Each AP item can destock up to five stock items and you can split the price to show the fees and drugs seperatly. However, the price split is NOT related to the actual cost of the drugs. This report, will scan all items with attached stock items and report on the current selling price of the stock (taken from the stock card) and compare that with the AP price. This allows you to adjust the price to reflect any changes in the stock. This option will NOT update the prices for you, just report them.

Transfer Prices
For cross updating sites you can transfer AP Codes and prices to your remote sites. The option:

Auto-Pricing -> End of Year/Price Inc -> Send prices to remote

will send over all AP codes and prices - it will NOT send the times used figures - these are 'per branch'. The option is only visible at the main site.
