Within password maintenance, you can switch off globally any of the access permissions . When they are switced off in this way no-one can access that option. The individual user permissions are ignored.

Globally Changing Analysis Codes

Globally changing analysis code can be done via the clinical search and replace option. If the 'text to be seached for' is a whole number in the range 1 to 255 then the system will assume this is an analysis code and replace it.

All the Breeds, Species, Colour, Stock lookup, Address lines, users and label abreviations can be exported to a text file. A text file can be imported to update the lookup tables.

Defaulting to either 'C'linical or 'Q'uit on man record.

Access permission 115 can be used to alter the default (on a per user basis) on the management prompt line. Normally the default is 'Q'uit, with 115 set to yes the default will be 'C'linical.

There are three changes to the FDI scan software:

• Number of new animal, the system will now use the 'First Registered' field in addition to the normal algorithm so you may see an increase in the 'New Animals'.
• Adolecent Health Check, this check will no longer be carried over on animals over 1 year of age unless you specify the analysis code in the general Health Check category.
• Breakdown by Bronze, Silver, Gold etc, this was being worked out on all clients not just bonded ones - this has been corrected so you will see more realistic numbers in this section.

The vatbook can be run on a per surgery basis for sites connected via leased line/ISDN. Sessions resets are handled in an individual basis and can take place while other users are on the system.

Set 'Separate_Vatbooks' in params.txt to enable this feature.

• Control Debtor includes a breakdown by record type (master record) for Small, Farm and Equine clients.

• Recall CSV file will include the 1st character of the sex field to allow if..else option in external word processors determine the correct wording based on gender.

• The 'Lookup Wholesaler' option in Stock Ordering has been removed and replaced with a similar option in pvprice.
