Changes to Access Permissions

New options:

If you are going to use these forms we would recommend you re-name them. This will same future upgrades over-writting them.
Loyalty Points
The option 'New_Animal_Loyal_Multi
' in params.txt can be used to
set the default loyalty multiplier when adding new animals.
Confirm on exit
The option 'Confirm_Exit
' in params.txt if set to Yes will when you
quit Premvet give you and option to carry on just in case you
selected exit by mistake.
Show day of week
On the clinical record screen you can have the system show you what
day of the week the transaction took place. Set 'Show_Day
' to Yes
in params.txt.
Transaction Date Colour Event
Event 178 has been allocated to the transaction date.
Update branch stock files
If you have multiple stock files on the one server these can be updated with prices/new items via an option on the Stock Utilities menu.
NOTE: The stock numbers must match for this option to give the expected results.

New reserved words
The following reserved words have been added:

Definition Files
The .IF / .EL clause can use less than (<) and greater than (>) in comparisons as well as the equals (=). Greater than will be taken as greater than and equal to. The last .ELse can have a null operand and can be used as a catch all. The system should handle spaces better after reserved words.

Star TSP 700 Label Printer
Support has been added for the Star thermal label printer. When setting up:
- set 'Need FF' to Yes.
- Label size is print 9 skip 0.
- Characters should be 47/25/47
\012'.
The .PA command in definition files will ONLY form feed, if you
want to force a cut then use &PA.
Jump to
A 'Jump to' option has been added to the clinical prompt line. At present the only option is to jump to operation list. If the animal is currently has an outstanding operation you will be taken to the operation card otherwise todays list will be displayed.

Count of 'XUD' and 'DELETED' Cards
With cross updating sites you need to know the number of cards available to you. The '?' (for information) at the main menu will now show (bottom right) the total number of XUD and DELETED cards that are available to you.

Stock net Cost
You can enter discounts for both supplier and manufacturer and the system will show you the discounted cost for each item. The supplier discount will be taken off 1st then the manufacturer. The system applies the SAME discount structure to all products from each. It does NOT handle any form of additional special/bulk one-offs. The Valuation report will show the discounts except it will NOT apply both to the total.
Breed Help
This option has been updated to reflect the longer breed names available in Premvet. The breed will be 'indexed' under the 1st few letters of the name and 1st letter of each word. An updated breed help file is available from support with weights in Kgs if required. You can re-index your own breed file by entering an (*) when in the setup menu.

Lifelearn
The 2002 Lifelearn CD has been converted to text and is available to all Lifelearn customers. The formatting has been improved, the 'overall' index (life.idx) has been removed.
This version can only be used with Laser printers (lj4 emulation). All the documents are using the troff filter (see (2) above). The lifecard.def and lifehead.def definition files have been superceeded with the new formating.
Misc
- Multiple search options on new style search for client 'Contains'
as per classic options.
- The weight macro's will work on weights under 1kg.
- Analysis code changes will cross update automatically.
- Recall updates via Ap will overwrite any existing recalls that have
a zero interval.
- pvprice will include any dispencing fee that is tied to the *

' to yes in params.txt to be prompted for expiry dates within automatic pricing if the date is not available. - Expiry dates for items from Dunlops can be printed out via and option
on the on-line services menu.
- Itemised bills from the animal cards will show payments. This will
render these bill types as statements.
- Default on AP help changed to Accept (was yes).
- Number of users increased to over 200 (219). Ensure that all remote
cross updating sites are up to this version at least before adding
users over 90.
- Letter files under stock - the drug name, dose details Milk/Meat and
batch number can be added with reserved words.
- The stand alone stock valuation will generate a csv file with
the details, this will include any supplier/manufacturer discounts.
- Unattended vatbook runs will update any Sage links that are setup.
- Set '
Log_Diary_Cancel
' to yes in params.txt if you wish to add a clinical record whenever anyone cancels an appointment.
