Access Permissions
The following access permissions have been added or changed.

DataMajor
The clinical table has two new fields:
| LineQU | The quantity supplied extracted from the text. |
|---|---|
| ShortText | Priced items, the name of the item less quantity. |
The PDP clinical field has been removed and replaced with a 'Fact' table called dates that includes date related facts from 1st Jan 1980 to 31st Dec 2010.
Client and Animal sheets are exported to the table 'sheets'. An option on the 'Custom' menu allows to to quickly search the sheets screens for text.
New/Updated Reports
POM Sales for last 3 months by Quantity
POM Sales for last 3 months by Income
POM Sales for last 3 months by Times Used
Income from Fees/Drugs (and ratio) by Month and Record Type
Farm List: Map ref, Herd Ref and Mileage
User Fees/Drug Ratio now includes a Record Type split (SA,FC,EQ)
Equine Records: DataMajor will process the following sex codes:

Surgery number can be updated via the Update scripts.
Stock Control
The 'Vital Few' report (80/20 rule) - this can be run on specific Analysis codes as well as Product/Supplier/Manufacturer.
When scanning a Centaur Tote sheet the History file (if switched on) will be updated on non-batch items. Items with a batch number will automatically update the history.
A bar code will be printed on Purchase Orders giving the P.O. Number
if the params.txt entry PO_Barcode
= Yes is present.
Stock Valuation can be limited to just the summary page.
Operations List
Two new options have been added.
| 'F'ind | this will search the FULL list for the text you specify. The complete animal record is searched along with Premed, the operation and op status. |
| 'T'oday | Will display the summary screen for today's date. |
Cross Updating
New option has been added to call_info:
CONFIG_FILE=/some/config/file
If this is set to a 'valid' cross updating configuration file, both x_send and x_check will re-run themselves using the settings in this file.
x_send, x_check and xmenu all accept the '-f config_file' parameter. This will cause the respective programs to use that configuration file rather than the default of /etc/call_info.
The Transfer Menu on xmenu has the option to transfer over Breeds, Species, sex, insured codes that are in use on the main system. This is a 'frontend' to the stand alone 'export' utility.
Users
The number of groups available has been increased to nine. Datamajor, Group mail and cross updating are all aware of the extra groups.
Group 9 is handled slightly different to the others in that You will not be asked to force group permissions when editing a group 9 user or if you are sending over access permissions via cross updating. This allows group 9 users to have site specific permissions.
Misc and Bug Fixes
- When listing stock order files the order of listing has changed, the
most recent order will be at the top of the list now.
- Barcode reports in Macro's, AP and Stock will no longer work with the
old dot matrix printers, they have been updated to print to PCL
compatible printers.
(Support Note: if lprpp is in i/face file you will get a 'Line too
Long' message - use a model file without it.)
- Payment report on the vatbook - if you select the Date option then you can limit the report to a specific surgery.
